Visitor Guidelines

To continue the safety of our patients and staff while recognizing the importance of family support to our patients, Alhambra Hospital Medical Center has implemented the following visitation guidelines:

GENERAL ACUTE CARE Visitation Guidelines

Visitation Guidelines:
•All visitors must check-in and out at the front desk.
•Visiting hours are restricted to 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for acute inpatient area. Last entry time is 7:30 p.m. All visitors must leave the visiting areas by 8:00 p.m.
•All visitors must be 13 years of age or older.
•Visitors must wear a Well-fitting face mask (no cloth mask) upon entry and at all times within the facility. Visitors for isolation patients must comply with our health facility instructions on PPE while in the patient’s room.
•All visitors must stay in the patient room for the entire visit. Visitors are not allowed to eat or drink during the visiting time. Visitors will not be permitted to wait in any common areas, including chapel, cafeteria and hallways.
•Two visitors are allowed in patient’s room at one time.
•Tele-visitation is available and highly recommended and can be facilitated upon request.


OUTPATIENT SURGERY

• Refer to the above general visitation guidelines.
• Up to two visitors will be allowed to accompany the Outpatient surgical Patient to facilitate the admission process and must leave when patient is sent to the Pre-op unit
• All visitors will be screened alongside patients prior to entering the facility.

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT Visitation Guidelines

• All visitors must be 13 years of age or older.
• Visitors must wear a face mask upon entry and at all times within the facility and must comply with our health facility instructions on PPE/hand hygiene.
• All visitors must stay with the patient during the entire visit. Visitors are not allowed to eat or drink during the visiting time. Visitors will not be permitted to walk around the ER department.
• Patient will be limited to only 1 visitor.
• Should the patient be admitted to the Hospital from the Emergency Department, the visitor will need to proceed to the main hospital entrance for visitation entry and follow the General Acute Care visitation guidelines.

Reglas de Visita - effectivo 4/10/2023

Reconocemos la importancia del apoyo familiar para nuestros pacientes, y también la seguridad de nuestros pacientes y personal. Por eso, el Centro Medico del Hospital de Alhambra ha implementado las siguientes reglas de visitas temporales:

Cuidados Agudos - Reglas de visita

• Todos los visitantes deben registrarse al entrar y salir en la recepción (Entrada principal).
• El horario de visitas es de las 8:00 a.m. a 8:00 p.m. para el área de hospitalización aguda. La última hora de entrada es a las 7:30 p.m. Todos los visitantes deben abandonar las áreas de visita a las 8:00 p.m.
• Todos los visitantes deben tener 13 años de edad o más.
• Los visitantes deben usar una máscara facial que se ajuste bien (no una máscara de tela) al ingresar y durante toda la visita en el hospital y deben cumplir con las instrucciones del hospital acerca de equipo protectivo mientras se encuentre en la habitación del paciente (es decir, higiene de manos y distanciamiento social).
• Todos los visitantes deben permanecer en la habitación del paciente durante toda la visita. Los visitantes no pueden comer ni beber durante el tiempo de visita. No se permitirá que los visitantes esperen en las áreas comunes, incluida la capilla, la cafetería y los pasillos.
• Se permiten solo 2 visitants en la habitación del paciente a la vez.
• Las visitas telefónicas están disponibles y son recomendadas.

CIRUGÍA AMBULATORIA

• Consulte las reglas generales de visitas mencionadas anteriormente.
• Se permitirá hasta dos visitants que acompañen al paciente quirúrgico ambulatorio para facilitar el proceso de admisión y debe irse cuando el paciente sea enviado a la unidad preoperatoria.

DEPARTAMENTO DE EMERGENCIA Reglas de visita

• Todos los visitantes deben tener 13 años de edad o más.
• Los visitantes deben usar una máscara facial al ingresar y en todo momento dentro del hospital y deben cumplir con las instrucciones del hospital EPP/higiene de manos.
• Todos los visitantes deben permanecer con el paciente durante toda la visita. Los visitantes no pueden comer ni beber durante el tiempo de visita. No se permitirá que los visitantes caminen por el departamento de emergencias.
• Solo una visita se permite a la vez.
• Si el paciente ingresa al Hospital desde el Departamento de Emergencias, el visitante deberá dirigirse a la entrada principal del hospital para la entrada de visitas y seguir las reglas de visitas del hospital
